Baila Boogaloo is the premier Toronto Latin dance company dedicated to excellence in performance, education, and entertainment. Under the artistic direction of Joaquin E. Martinez, whose Salvadoran heritage inspires his choreography and teaching, the company delivers authentic, high-energy Latin dance experiences.

Bachata Cabaret Canadian Champions  and Principals Darlene Wang de Martinez and Eddy Calle bring the heat.  Darlene, an accomplished performer and instructor in Salsa, Bachata, Cabaret- performs, teaches, and competes internationally alongside principal and partner dancer Eddy Calle. Inspired by his Colombian and Ecuadorian roots, Eddy brings creativity and innovation to every production, fusing Bachata, Salsa, Cabaret into unforgettable performances and world-class training experiences.  Together, they bring true expertise, experience, creativity, and passion to every student, performance, and production.

From beginner level to elite performance teams, Baila Boogaloo offers training in Bachata Sensual, Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba, Cabaret (Acrobatics & Lifts), Cha Cha Cha, Rueda, and Ballroom. As the official Daniel y Desiree representatives in the Greater Toronto Area, we proudly offer exclusive Bachata Sensual training and performance opportunities.

Our award-winning teams perform locally and internationally at renowned festivals and congresses, while our professional performers are regularly hired for corporate events, private functions, weddings, Quinceañeras, festivals, and special events, delivering elegant, high-impact shows featuring spectacular choreography, acrobatics, and audience engagement.
