About us 

Leading our company is Joaquin E. Martinez – artistic director/head choreographer. Born in Acajutla, El Salvador, Joaquin continuously presents within every piece choreographed and in classes, the Latin flavor and components that flow through his blood. 

 

Co-founder and principal Darlene Wang de Martinez hails from a background in Latin, Cabaret and music, she travels the world to perform, teach and compete with her partner and principal dancer Eddy Calle.

 

Driven from his Columbian & Ecuadorian background, Eddy creates jaw dropping pieces that continuously inspire our student body and the teams he leads with Darlene.

 

The Baila Boogaloo dancers and teams embrace the many forms and styles of Latin dancing. We offer classes in Bachata Sensual, Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba, Cabaret (acrobatics & lifts), cha cha cha and Rueda, from absolute beginner to competitive levels. 

 

Baila Boogaloo also teaches the exclusive Daniel y Desiree 'DYD' classes and team in the GTA. This team travels regularly to Europe to perform alongside Daniel y Desiree. 

 

We also offer an array of spectacular Latin dance show packages inclusive of acrobatics and colorful show stopping costumes for corporate events, private functions, weddings, birthdays/Quinceañeras and special events
